2015 has started off to be a great year for Hospital Radio Chelmsford. No sooner was the clock striking 12, New Years toasts being made, fireworks lighting the sky and new years resolutions being made (and broken), the National Hospital Radio Awards finalists for 2015 were announced.
Hospital Radio Chelmsford, based at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, received 5 nominations in 5 categories.
The Awards are organised by the Hospital Broadcasting Association to highlight the professionalism and reward those volunteers who give up their time freely every week to Entertain, Inform and bring a smile to patients in hospitals.

Best Male Presenter and Best Specialist Music Programme: Alan Sword - Great American Country
Best Newcomer: Rebecca Braybrook - Monday at Midday and Wednesday VIP Requests
Best Programme with Multiple Presenters: Paul Evans and Pete Oddie - Two Little Dickie Birds
Best Female Presenter: Asha Jhummu
The Awards ceremony takes place in Gosford, Newcastle on Saturday 28th March 2015.
