Back in 1985 The Chelmsford Star COOP presented us with an Outside Broadcast vehicle, so we could broadcast our programmes from outside the hospitals and they commences a long association with our Nightly Request Show, Star Requests.
So it's apt that in 2014 we take the shows on the road for Co-operatives Fortnight.
Co-operatives Fortnight starts on June 21st and Hospital Radio Chelmsford will be broadcasting our live Saturday programmes from various Food Centres in and around Chelmsford over the next coming weeks.
Here are our COOP Tour Dates:
Sat 21st June 2014 - COOP Tour, Exchange Way Chelmsford
Sat 12th July 2014 - COOP Tour, Fair on Green, Writtle
Sat 26th July 2014 - COOP Tour, Danbury
Sat 16th August 2014 - COOP Tour, Duke St, Chelmsford
Sat 6th September 2014 - COOP Tour, Kings Road, Chelmsford
You can find the team near the entrance to the stores. Adam Ravenscroft will start things from 10am, followed by Asha and Nita Jhummu. Please feel free to pop by and send a message to someone who you might know in Broomfield Hospital.
Don't forget to bring your Hospital Radio Chelmsford Chelmsford Star COOP Community Card with you. For every money you spend in store, we receive a donation from the Chelmsford Star COOP. If you have not got a Community Card, track down one of our team who can provide you one.
